The “Lighten Up” Campaign.

The insight: Skincare has become a chore. It takes forever, there are too many steps, and you feel guilty if you’re not doing it “right.” In fact, self care in general has gotten so overcomplicated that it no longer makes you feel good. That’s… pretty ridiculous. And that’s why we need to lighten up the world of self care.

Manifesto:

Self-care is a chore.

A daunting daily task that drains the life out of you, rather than rejuvenating it.

Five steps in the morning, Ten more at night.

With so many components, you’d think it’s a never ending science experiment with no solution.

Let’s get real - it’s gotten kind of silly. Remember, at the end of the day, self-care is supposed to be self-love.

It’s time away from the nine to five, not a second job.

Caring for ourselves shouldn’t be an obligation.

It’s an act of love.

One that’s simple, and certainly never takes itself too seriously.

Because love is light.

So don’t let self-care weigh you down.

Instead, Lighten Up.

  • Glow on the Go Retail Experience

    Concept Summary

Let shoppers lighten up — literally — by wearing the TheraFace Mask while they shop. With hands-free, full-face LED therapy, they’ll experience skin care that doesn’t interrupt life but flows with it. No routines, no 10-step instructions. Just light, movement, and a little self-love — plus a good laugh seeing all your fellow shoppers walking around looking like robots.

    Experience

Customers are invited to try on a TheraFace Mask upon entering a mall.

While the mask delivers red, blue, or infrared light therapy, guests can shop and run their errands, getting a skincare treatment that doesn’t even interrupt your day. Sure, it might look a little goofy, but it’s a communal experience — lots of people around the mall will be wearing the masks.

Selfie stations invite shoppers to take pictures in the masks. There’s some serious viral potential here — people who aren’t in on the pop-up will definitely be curious when they see shoppers walking around in the masks!

  • Keep It Light Social Series

    Concept Summary

Social media LOVES feuds — the pettier the better. We all get caught up in the drama, the mess, and the darkness whenever two celebrities or influencers are fighting — so TheraFace is going to get in on the drama by organizing a self care getaway with all your favorite feuding stars. We’re talking Alix Earle vs. Alex Cooper. Bethenny Frankel vs. Jill Zarin. Alabama Barker vs. Bhad Bhabie. TheraBody socials will promote a self care getaway weekend that will put all of these stars in the same hotel. But everything is not what it seems.

    Experience

Followers will be encouraged to tune in for the IRL interactions between these feuding stars — only to find them all relaxing while getting a TheraFace mask treatment.

For the sake of self care, they’re putting aside the drama. “It’s not that serious. Lighten up.”
